FAQs

Quick answers to help you start strumming with confidence.

Do I need a steel-string acoustic or will a classical guitar work?

Both can work, but our beginner strumming pathway is optimized for steel-string acoustics. If you have a classical guitar, expect a slightly softer strum and wider neck, which can affect certain chord grips.

How much should I practice as a beginner?

Aim for 15–25 minutes per day. Consistency beats marathon sessions. Our lessons are designed to stack small wins that compound weekly.

What if my fingers hurt?

Mild fingertip soreness is normal in the first weeks. Keep sessions short, press just hard enough for clean tone, and allow recovery days. If you feel sharp pain, stop and rest.

Do I need music theory knowledge?

No. We teach only the theory that supports your playing—chord shapes, basic harmony, and rhythm cues—so you can sound musical right away.

How are lessons structured?

Modules are short and sequential. You’ll learn a core skill, apply it in a mini-arrangement, and loop it with a practice plan. Clear checkpoints mark progress.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you’re not satisfied within 14 days of purchase, contact us at [email protected] for a hassle-free refund on eligible items. See Terms for details.

Will I learn songs I recognize?

Yes. We build toward recognizable song-ready arrangements using open chords and beginner-friendly tempos.

What do I do when I get stuck?

Revisit the previous checkpoint, slow the strum to a comfortable tempo, and practice chord changes in isolation. You can also reach out via our Contact page for guidance.

Is there a community?

We periodically run guided cohorts and share practice prompts by email. Join our list after any checkout to receive updates.
